I got to try this place today - food and staff were top notch! Great addition to the community, Cross Lanes needed a good steak house and this definitely checks all boxes! Highly recommend.
I eat at Cattleman’s frequently. I absolutely love their steak, it's so hard to convince myself to eat anything else! I have tried their Mahi Mahi (running only until Easter) and it is SO amazing. The bourbon glazed salmon is just delicious, so much so I started eating before I even remembered to get a picture! The food is always so good and the rolls with the honey butter are always great. The staff is so nice and patient and accommodating! Nicole, especially - she's one of the managers and is always super friendly. She just happened to be catering under Cattleman's name at an art event I attended last night at the Rowan County Courthouse - their food was a hit with the visitors. I love going to Cattleman’s!
Was greeted and sat promptly! Gorgeous parking lot and plenty of parking! Ordered the Salad Bar and a side of mashed potatoes and Broccoli Cheddar soup. 2 glasses of Pinot Grigio. Nice quick lunch. Sarah was our server. Quick. Efficient. Nice and courteous. Salad bar was plentiful and clean! Love to stop here. Close to interstate ramp and gasoline shopping etc. Open under a year. So many items to choose from. Country Fried steak special on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Daily features. Full bar.
Great food and great service. Steak, sweet potato, drink and salad bar are about 25. They family dining and a separate bar area. The salad bar has more than just salad... it has one of the best broccoli salad I have ever had.
Delicious prime rib at the Mt Sterling location. NOT at Morehead. Service is Top notch in Mt Sterling. Service is super slow, I was ignored at the bar for 12 minutes until I left to get a table. Others were served at the bar. DO NOT go to Morehead location. AND, I ordered medium rare. Steak came rare had to send back .
I ordered The Sheriff 20oz. Best steak I’ve had in a long time, cooked perfectly rare too. It’s the first time in weeks that I finished the plate, no box needed to take home. My server Kayla was awesome. 10/10
We ate at Cattlemans on March 30. I think whoever does their recipes needs to go back to school on Pot Roast. Both my grandson and I ordered it. What we got was some dried cooked beef and a few slices of carrots. I didn't know pot roast didn't have gravy? Also they should call their mashed potatoes smashed potatoes. Mashed potatoes shouldn't have lumps. My husband ordered 1/2 rack of ribs and baked potato. He was very pleased with his meal. I'll only go back if someone I'm with wants to eat there.
My steak was cooked to perfection! It was exceptionally tasty! You won’t find a better salad bar anywhere in Kentucky. My server, Tyson, was outstanding and a very nice young man!
